Please call between 1:30pm and 4.30pm hours to enquire about your test results as our reception staff will have more time to deal with your request between these times.
You may be given your result by telephone or you may be asked to refer back to your GP. Where possible please discuss your results by phone as this saves your time and keeps appointments free for other patients.
Note that the practice has a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection and we will only release test results to the person to whom they relate unless that person has given prior permission for the release of this data or they are not capable of understanding the results.
When you take your test you will be told how long it will be before the results are returned to the practice.
It is your responsibility to check your results and to make an appointment to discuss them with your Doctor if your are advised to do so.

Hospital Results
If you are under the care of a consultant in the hospital and they have asked you to have any tests then you must contact the consultant’s secretary for the results or wait for your follow-up appointment. You can contact the hospital secretaries via the relevant hospital switchboard.
Private Results
Patients who have been seen privately and have been asked by a consultant to have some tests taken must contact the private hospital for the results directly.
