The Patient Participation Group (PPG) consists of patients from the practice who wish to take a role in developing health services and becoming involved in their practice. It is to facilitate patients and the practice to work together to share ideas to help improve services offered. It is an avenue for patients to have an input in how services are planned and developed.
We would like to offer all patients the chance to join our PPG, we would like people from as broad a spectrum as possible so we have representation from all. We need young people, workers, stay at home parents, retired people, people with ongoing medical issues etc. We will not ask for much of your time. We will email you the newsletter and may ask you to take part in a small survey from time to time.
We need a small group of patients, approximately 8 – 10, whom will join the PPG committee and participate in meetings with practice staff to discuss any issues. Meetings will be held every 3 months.
If you would like to join please complete the online form. If you have any questions you would like to ask before joining please email stjohns@nhs.net and mark the email for the attention of Adam Dutton PPG.
