Bereavement
Footsteps. They provide support for bereaved children, young people and their families in Worcestershire following the death of a parent, sibling or other significant person in their life.
Primrose Hospice Bereavement Service. To be referred to the Family Support Service, please contact your GP or contact the service directly on 01527 889799, between 9am and 5pm.
Cruse Bereavement Support. A charity that helps people through one of the most painful times in life – with bereavement support, information and campaigning. Tel: 0808 808 1677
Sands. This charity supports anyone affected by the death of a baby and promotes research to reduce the loss of babies’ lives.
Touchstones Child Bereavement Support is a charity that provide free one-to-one bereavement support and weekend experiences for children and young people in Hagley, Bromsgrove, Redditch and Wythall. Additionally, Touchstones advises families and schools on how to support children and young people through bereavement, including pre-school children who are best supported by their own family.
Winston’s Wish is a national charity that provides support for bereaved children. They run drops-ins in Worcester, Evesham and Upton-upon-Severn as well offer a free helpline that providers support, information and guidance to all those caring or supporting a child or young person who has been bereaved

SENDIASS A to Z Support Information. This website shows the A to Z support information available to children with additional needs in Worcestershire.
Medicine
NHS Medicine A to Z. Find out how your medicine works, how and when to take it, possible side effects and answers to your common questions.
Mental Health
Healthy Minds. A site to help with stress, anxiety, low mood and depression as well as other conditions. There are resources and contact numbers.
Kooth. An online mental wellbeing community.
Mind. They provide advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem. They campaign to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding. Tel: 0300 123 3393
National Suicide Prevention Helpline UK. A national helpline offering supportive listening service to anyone throughout the UK with thoughts of suicide or thoughts of self-harm. They are open 6pm to 3:30 am for those aged 18 or over. Tel 0800 689 5652

Relate. Services include counselling for couples, families, young people and individuals, sex therapy, mediation and training courses. This can be done face-to-face, live chat, phone and email counselling so you can choose the support that works for you. There are also relationship help pages that offer practical tips, guides and videos to help you manage common relationship issues.
Rethink. Rethink provide expert, accredited advice and information to everyone affected by mental health problems.
Samaritans. They offer a safe place for you to talk any time you like, in your own way – about whatever’s getting to you. You don’t have to be suicidal. Call Samaritans free, 24 hours a day 365 days a year. Tel: 116 123
Self-Led SilverCloud. SilverCloud programmes are designed to help you improve and maintain your wellbeing by changing the way you think and feel about things.
Veterans Support. Links to Veteran support websites where you can find resources to help you with various matters.
Musculoskeletal
Versus Arthritis. This is the UK’s largest charity dedicated to supporting people with arthritis. It has a wealth of information and resources to help those with musculoskeletal conditions.
Fibromyalgia. MSKHub offers an on-line self management education programme. This is an online programme based on current evidence based practice and recommended guidelines for the management of fibromyalgia.
Pain
Dealing with pain. A website with information and a toolkit to help those suffering from persistent pain.
Flippin Pain. Flippin’ Pain™ is a public health campaign with a clear goal: To change the way we think about, talk about and treat persistent pain. Flippin’ your understanding of pain could change the lives of you and your loved ones forever. They have many resources to help you with your pain managment.
Live Well With Pain. They are an independent not-for-profit project to support clinicians, GP’s and people with pain.
Pain Concern. This charity provides information and resources on how to manage pain, as well as help and support where you can contact them.
Pregnancy-Related
The Ectopic Pregnancy Trust. A charity that provides information and support to those having had an ectopic pregnancy.
The Cedar Tree. They offer free and confidential support with Pregnancy Choices and Pregnancy Loss.
Miscarriage Association. A charity to help those affected by miscarriage, molar pregnancy or ectopic pregnancy.
Travel
Fit for Travel. A website for travellers with lots of useful information.
NaTHNaC. National Travel Health Network and Centre. Provides information on all aspects of travel health.
Other
Care Quality Commission. The CQC is the health watchdog in England. It is their job to check that health services are meeting standards in a range of areas, including safety, cleanliness and waiting times.
